On September 30, 2018, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued an announcement regarding State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC) wireless certification. Beginning October 15, 2018 SRRC testing fee is cancelled and covered by the Chinese government.
