MIL-STD-461 is applied to Department of Defense (DoD) procurements for equipment and subsystems.The purpose and applicability of MIL-STD-461G will be presented, including special focus on:

  • Test Procedure Requirements
  • Specific Focus on Test Methods which changed from version F to G including CS114, CS117, CS118 and updates to RE102 and RS103
  • Test Set Ups and Equipment Under Test Configurations
  • Typical compliance issues encountered and suggested troubleshooting steps
  • Best practice for consolidating testing and cost savings

This highly technical course is intended for engineers, compliance professionals and developers involved with electronics systems development for military equipment.This course delivers the what,why and how in MIL-STD 461 compliance. Understanding the evaluation process will enlighten designers of complex Military equipment, help improve their designs and increase compliance with the testing regimens.
